BRIEF:
Changes in legislation, killed off our clients outdated lighting catalogue. Tasked with creating a new range of LED lights to cater for retail and display in a collection of differing sizes. Creating the maximum output in the smallest form factor.
SOLUTION:
- Using SMD (Surface Mounted Diodes), dropped set up costs and boosted efficiency.
- SMD’s are directly attached to an over size heat sink, resulting in less heat output. Eliminating the need for a lens to cover the diode to pass CE & UL certification.
- Low power output allows for more lights to be piggybacked from one transformer.
- Using equal power and lumen output across designs allows design to be mix and matched from transformer.
