A PORTABLE LITERATURE STAND, FOR RETAIL AND EXHIBITION SECTORS
BRIEF:
Assigned with modernising a literature stand, by dropping the weight and improving functionality.
SOLUTION:
- Replacing metal shelves with plastic produces a 30% weight reduction
- Getting handy with the scalpel, building simplified modeles of the folding mechanism allowed us to create a second alternate product using the base components.
- Creating a self-nesting design not only allowed for a smaller packed height but also allowed for literature to be stored in the trays whilst folded.
