Here at Mouse Design Limited (“Mouse”) our whole business ethos is about being transparent and honest with our clients. As a product design agency, we rely on maintaining a trust and confidence with all our customers. With this in mind, we have drafted this Privacy Notice to be as simple as possible. The purpose of it is to explain to you: in which circumstances we may collect your personal data, how we use and process it, the unusual circumstances in which we may have to share it and how we keep it secure. This notice also tells you how you can exercise Your Rights (including the right to object to some of the data handling we carry out).

WHAT

For our company to provide the services we offer, we need to retain and handle a small amount of personal information.

Doing business with you

When you contact us, or as part of our new or continued business relationship, we will generally gather the following information about you:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Email address
  • Direct telephone number and/ or mobile number

Site traffic data and information about your computer

  • Information about your use of our Website – we collect standard internet log information, IP address location and details of visitor behaviour patterns.
  • We use this information to record visitor numbers, their use of different areas of the Website and any useful features or links.
  • We use a third party, Google Analytics, to collect this information but only use this as collective data, rather than looking at individual use. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

WHY

FIRSTLY WE WILL NEVER SELL OR RENT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Your data is only used for our own internal business purposes. We will never sell or rent your personal information to any third parties and we always take reasonable care in keeping this information secure, preventing unauthorised access or unlawful use. All personal information is processed by us in accordance with data protection legislation applicable in the UK.

We will generally use your personal data to respond to business enquiries and/ or communicate as part of our new or ongoing business relationship.

 

WHERE

Your contact information is  added to our secure CRM system, which is used by Mouse. This data may be updated at any stage by emailing talk@mouse.design. We take reasonable care in keeping this information secure, preventing unauthorised access or unlawful use.

 

WHEN

We process personal information of legitimate business interests to conduct and manage our consultancy. This way we can provide the most appropriate information and services to ensure the best journey with Mouse.

Information between third party business partners

We may share your information with third-party business partners when reasonably necessary to deliver our services to you service: to introduce you to a sourcing agent and/ or factory producing your product.

When your information is required by law

mouse will disclose your information when required to do so by lawful request.

When there is a legitimate business interest

We may collect, process, and use your data to pursue a legitimate business interest in a way that would be reasonably anticipated as part of running our business. This does not impact your rights, freedom, or interests.
