DIMMA Rally Car Alloy Wheel
BRIEF:
Design a modern deep dish alloy wheel set for the launch with the new 2020 Peugeot 205 GTi Dimma.
SOLUTION:
- Reverse Engineered the Style from the original 16in Dimma Wheel set
- Add in a rim cross section profile to perform with a modern set of racing tyres
- Create a front and back Wheel set (yes they are different!)
- Engineer the internal dimension to work with the oversize brake callipers needed for the 2020 205 GTi Dimma’s speed and power.
- Complete FEA to ensure weight loading was in the correct range.
- Provide 3D CAD files for prototype production
