We start every project by finding out every single thing there is to know, not just about you and your product, but also the end-user, their needs and desires, the problem we’re trying to solve and the marketplace we’re aiming for. This helps us identify what makes your product special and unique.
At the ideas stage, we fuel inspiration with a range of clever tools and techniques. This includes innovation workshops and design sprints – an intensive process where we test and challenge new ideas. These lead us to a clear concept, ready to be refined.
This is where the fun begins! The design stage is where we start to visualise and refine your idea with the help of the latest CAD software, getting a feel for what the end product will look like and how it will perform in the real world.
There’s nothing quite like a tangible sample to help you test and develop your product even further. We have the tools and knowledge to bring your vision to life in our very own workshop, including 3D printers and laser cutting, which helps manipulate various materials into shape. We can also create sewn samples and assist with small-batch production at this stage.
Once the prototype is signed off, we’ll get your product into the hands of your target customers with expert knowledge of the manufacturing process. As well as creating detailed designs suitable for manufacture, we can advise you on the best routes to funding opportunities and find the perfect place to produce your product (either in the UK or abroad). We can also support you in moving from small batches to large-scale production.
We won’t just abandon you once your product reaches the place you want it to be. We offer continuous support to our customers no matter what, with specialist advice, an empathetic ear and project management for as long as you need it. We can also assist with handovers, new releases and expanding product lines, with the same collaborative approach we’ve had since the start.
At Mouse, we don’t just talk about your ideas. We actually make them happen, right in our very own dedicated workshop. Here you’ll find a hub of prototyping and production innovation, with high-tech tools, a dedicated sewing space, a large cutting table, a 3D printing suite and only the best quality coffee – to keep those ideas flowing.
